This region of <strong>Corsica<\/strong> is made up of volcanic rock and is part of what is known as the <strong>Corsica<\/strong> crystalline with magmatic rocks' which covers two thirds of the island. At the western end of the Monte Cintu mountain range running from <strong>Porto<\/strong> to go to <strong>Solenzara<\/strong> in south-east France <strong>Corsica<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The beauty of the Gulf of <strong>Porto<\/strong> is demonstrated by the fact that this site is a World Heritage Site and includes : <strong>Porto<\/strong>the calanques of <strong>Piana<\/strong>, <strong>Girolata<\/strong> and the <strong>Scandola<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"section2\">Porto, a little piece of history<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite these fortifications, the coast of the Gulf of <strong>Porto<\/strong> in the 17th century<sup class=\"exposant\">e<\/sup> century, major defence problems.
