Our approach
Corse Vacances is an independent, free guide for planning a trip to Corsica, published by F5 Media. This page explains how the guide is written, how it is funded and where its images come from.
An independent guide
The towns, beaches, sights and activities we cover are chosen because they are worth it, never because a business paid to appear on a page. The guide also tells you when a place is packed in August, when a road is closed or when a trip depends on the weather, so you arrive knowing what to expect.
How the guide stays free
The guide is funded by affiliate links, which are marked as such. The tours and visits suggested on our pages currently link to GetYourGuide; other partners (accommodation, car hire) may be added. If you book through these links, we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. An activity only appears if it matches the place on the page and has been rated by travellers.
Checked and dated facts
Opening hours, prices, access, regulations and seasons are checked against official sources: the websites of local councils, museums, operators, parks and prefectures. Every revised page shows the date it was last updated. This information sometimes changes without notice: for a boat trip, a shuttle or a museum, check with the operator before you set off. If you spot something out of date, let us know.
Where our images come from
Our photos come from the Pexels and Pixabay image libraries: each one is checked to make sure it shows the right place, and carries the photographer's name. Where no reliable photo exists, an AI-generated image, built from the real features of the place, is labelled "Illustration". The full list is on the photo credits page (in French).
In several languages
The guide is written first in French, then translated into English, German, Spanish, Italian and Dutch from the revised pages.
