Privacy policy

In short

Corse Vacances sets no cookies in your browser, shows no advertising and does not ask you to create an account. We only process the data you send us through the contact form and the data a web server needs in order to work.

Contact form

When you write to us, we receive your name, your email address, and the subject and text of your message. They reach us by email so that we can reply, and are used for nothing else: no newsletter, no resale. The form sets no cookie; a simple sum and a hidden field protect it from automated submissions.

• Retention: for as long as it takes to handle your request, then no more than three years after our last exchange.

Server logs

As with any website, our host o2switch records connections: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser. These logs are used for security and to keep the website running properly.

• Legal basis: legitimate interest (security) and the legal obligation to retain connection data.
• Retention: no more than one year.

Audience measurement

We measure traffic with Plausible Analytics, a cookieless tool that collects no personal data: the IP address is used only to count unique visitors over a single day and is never stored. Plausible also counts clicks to other websites and form submissions, without knowing who makes them. The statistics are hosted in the European Union.

Interactive map

The maps display OpenStreetMap base layers. To show them, your browser requests the map images from the servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation, which then receive your IP address, as with any web page. The Foundation is based in the United Kingdom, a country recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection. The fonts and the map library are hosted on our own server.

Partner links

Our links to booking websites (GetYourGuide, Booking.com and others) set no cookies on our website. If you click one, you leave Corse Vacances: the partner may then set its own cookies on its own website, under its own privacy policy, to attribute the booking.

Recipients

Your data is neither sold nor rented. It is accessible to F5 Media and, solely for their technical role, to our host o2switch (France) and to the audience measurement service Plausible (European Union).

Cookies

The website sets no cookies at all: no audience measurement, advertising or social media cookies. There is therefore no banner to accept.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, its rectification or erasure, or restriction of its processing, or object to that processing, by writing to us through the contact form. We reply within one month. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés, the French data protection authority).
